Heart of Compassion Missionary Ministries is a ministry with a global mission dedicated to Reaching People and Touching Lives Around the World with a Heart of Compassion. We have conducted missions throughout Africa in the countries of Zimbabwe and Ethiopia, as well as in the country of Haiti. We are reaching people and touching lives through our ministry by giving, serving, teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ethiopia is the second most populous country in Sub-Saharan Africa (85 million) and is also one of the world’s poorest nations. Approximately 39 percent of the population lives on less than $1.25 (U.S.) per day. Poverty, limited resources, adverse weather conditions affecting agriculture and little alternative sources of income have contributed to the crisis. Additionally, close to 14 million Ethiopians, 20% of the country’s total population has difficulty finding enough to eat. In a joint effort to help people out of the cycle of poverty, we are partnering with other ministries that have similar goals and objectives.

In Zimbabwe, we helped to construct an orphanage in the city of Domboshawa which is 20 minutes outside the capital city of Harare. The need for orphanages is great because Zimbabwe has a higher number of orphans, in proportion to its population, than any other country in the world. Most of these cases are a result of parents dying from AIDS.

Heart of Compassion Missionary Ministries is an advocate of sponsoring children, widows, and families in need of breaking the cycle of poverty so that they will be released from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty to become responsible and fulfilled Christians.
